Welcome to the Author Academy Writing Circle, we are a group of like-minded passionate writers that want to share our stories with others and to help our fellow members with writing to their absolute potential.


If you have an urge to write your story whether it’s a personal journey, fictional or any genre you are drawn to, then why not come along and join our circle in the beautiful Hawkesbury.


Over the years we have run many writing workshops where the feedback is always the same…. they don't want them to end and they want more. This is why we decided to create our own writing group so that you can come along and create your own magic!  

Why choose us?

  • We offer a very safe environment that allows you to engage in conversation and make new        friendships.
  • We meet every fortnight and offer an environment that is ideal for writing…it’s a writer’s            retreat!
  • You can choose to either sit under the big tree, look over the beautiful green fields that                have a beautiful backdrop of trees, bushes, water, and wildlife or perhaps you prefer to sit          indoors, either way, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surrounds, the gentle sounds of        the water feature in the garden, the slight rustle of the leaves, bushes and trees.

    Our current intake status is:  OPEN

    We have two circles currently:

    When:  Wednesdays

    Time:  10am to 2pm

    or   

    When:  Sundays

    Time:  11am to 3pm

    Location: In the beautiful Hawkesbury

    Investment:  $50 per circle

    Note:  Tea and coffee is supplied. Lunch is not included, however, there is a fridge and microwave for your convenience.
